Changing Room Refurbishment

I am delighted to inform our members and friends of our intention to refurbish and upgrade the changing room facilities here at New Longton Sports and Social Club. We were successful in securing £19999 of funding from the Lancashire Community Fund, administered through South Ribble BC. However the work required to bring the changing rooms into the 21 Century will cost significantly more than the grant received for South Ribble BC. We are currently pursuing an option to Crowd Fund the shortfall in funds. If successful, for every £1 we raise Lancashire County Council will match the funds, like for like. Therefore if we were to raise £2000, Lancashire County Council would match this with £2000. Indeed they will do this up to £20,000.
